Celadon Blooms Ginger Jar 29x29x30.5cm

A ginger jar with a wide body reads quite differently to a tall narrow one, sitting lower and taking more horizontal space. The Celadon Blooms Ginger Jar 29x29x30. 5cm is 29cm across and 30. 5cm tall, so the proportions are closer to square than the classic tall form. That makes it well suited to a hallway console or a low shelf where a taller jar would look top heavy. Hand painted with a royal blue blooms design across glazed porcelain, the detail varies between pieces. The domed lid completes the shape.

• Wider 29cm body sits lower than the classic tall jar form
